A brief description of the process used to clean stone and tiled floors.
Often a customer will say they have tried steam cleaning their stone or tiled floor without success. Steam mops are not an ideal way to clean stone floors.

I start by wetting the floor with plain water. Then when the cleaning solution is applied its sits on the surface instead of soaking into the stone, taking some of the dirt with it. Once the cleaning solution has had a short dwell time it is worked into the surface with rotary cleaning machine with an appropriate brush or pad underneath it.

The dirty cleaning solution is then vacuumed away. Now your floor, including the grout, is clean it is rinsed with plain water to remove any residues of the cleaning product.

Once dry the stone or tile can be sealed or have a dressing applied to give the desired appearance.
